LOA Finally!

In Laura G's words, China has spoken. Our Letter of Acceptance is in New York and on it's way here. The LOA is mostly a formality, it is just like a referral even though we know who Jackson is already. Next step travel arrangements. Probably not until after the Olympics, but we'll see stranger things have happened.

Travel will be with 3 other families, one of which we know very well as we travel together to adopt our daughters in 2006. Talk about a red thread between each other and China. Now they will be bringing home their beautiful daughter Emma, and us our handsome son Jackson. We have also been messaging back and forth with the other two families for quite some time. Our little Seadog Group (We have a pirate theme for our travel group names, buccaneers, swashbucklers etc..

Cool Seadog 2008 Facts
We have all adopted from China before
We all have girls from China
If I'm not mistaken they are all pretty close in age too!
This trip the kids are split between 2 orphanges, two and two
Chloe & Jackson in Wuxi, and Emma and Eli in Changzhou
Two boys and two girls - how cute.
Chloe, Jackson, and Eli were all born within two weeks of each other 12/19/06-1/3/07
We're going to be super busy with four toddlers :)
I can't wait!!!

Pray for fast turn around of our Letter's of Acceptance and quick Travel Approval and Consulate Appointments for our Seadog group!

A Little Advocacy for Today

Operation Smile: Help Children Around the World Through a Simple Click - From Bethany:

Oral-B will donate one foot of dental floss to Operation Smile for every visitor that clicks through this link on their web site. No strings attached, no personal information required. It takes less than 5 seconds. Operation Smile is an organization that helps repair facial deformities in children throughout the world.

I would like to think that someone took the time to do this for our son Jackson, his lip was beautifully repaired in China (he now has 8 beautiful teeth that I can't wait to take care of!).

Much Love,

T.

Cool New Site

I stumbled upon this awesome site that raffles off the most adoreable little girls dresses. I love the dress that is up for grabs this week called Ice Cream Social, it's well - delicious. I could so see Addie wearing this dress. Check out her stuff it's gorgeous. I love to support crafty mommies doing cool things.

I've Been Tagged - Thanks Larua L.

The six word memoir. My lovely travel friend from China Laura L. tagged me and asked me to capture my life right now in six words.

So here it is: WAITING, WAITING, when will it end!

I feel so blessed with my life, our life. Yet, our hearts are split between here and China. We just want to get our little guy home. Hopefully in a few months my six words will be.

Busy, busy with two little ones.

Thanks Laura, hugs to you for keeping me busy!
